About the Presenter:

Danielle D. King, PhD

Dr. King is an assistant professor of industrial and organizational psychology at Rice University and the principal investigator of the WorKing Resilience Research Laboratory. Her research focuses on the topics of employee resilience, resources, identity, and voice. Her work has been funded by the National Science Foundation and has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Academy of Management Journal, and in media outlets, including Harvard Business Review. She recently received the American Psychological Association’s Achievement Award for Early Career Psychologists. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University.
