Painting with sustainability in mind. Art of CO2 Mural Fest is combining resources to create an annual festival driven by environmental sustainability, philanthropy, and inspiring community engagement with creative work and murals by a diverse group of local Houston artists featuring CO2-absorbing paint.

We have partnered with NASA engineer, Tanya K. Rogers, Ph.D., + co-founders Slade Ham and Rawand Rasheed of the Houston-based small business, The People’s CO2. This woman-owned organization aims to change the narrative of fighting climate change as the first company to bring CO2 capture to the individual level. This innovative paint has the ability to absorb over 200 lbs of CO2, empowering our community to take action into their own hands.

Art of CO2 Mural Fest is honored to be hosted by Eureka Heights Brew Co., a long-term supporter of Houston’s art community.
