Microaggressions are “a comment or action that subtly and often unconsciously or unintentionally expresses a prejudiced attitude toward a member of a marginalized group.” Microaggressions in the workplace can have severe consequences, such as depression and anxiety, leading to absenteeism and lowered job satisfaction. Please join the next NEWT Diversity and Inclusion session on microaggressions and its relationship to resilience in the workplace led by the wonderful Dr. Danielle King from Rice University!
