NEWT works with South Mountain High School students.

NEWT was invited to share our research and outreach activities with South Mountain High School students. More than 200 students attended on Jan 23rd. This included (1) a short classroom presentation on NEWT (2) A display table (outside) to show our water treatment-related items (e.g., membrane, carbon filter, adsorbent media, catalysts, etc.) and nanotechnology demonstration (nano-block) (3) Show MobileNEWT (outside), to display various NEWT based water treatment modules. Special Thanks to Ms. Cindy Waldron of South Mountain High School, and NEWT Faculty and SLC Shahnawaz Sinha (Asst. Research Professor), Omar Alrehaili (PhD student), Krish Venkatesh (MS student), Jiefie Cao (MS Student), Ana Sofia Fajardo (Post-Doc), Brandon Cruz (undergraduate student) of ASU.
